Stephen Ministry
If you are struggling with a loss, we are deeply sorry. Loss and suffering are inevitable parts of life and can take many forms, as in the death of a loved one, or the loss of health.
The importance of grieving in Christ is to experience the pain and grieving while walking toward the Lord. Grieving is important work. While it can be tempting to avoid the pain of grieving, avoidance can often lead to other life-altering problems. Our goal in Stephen Ministry is to bear your burdens with you, while directing you back toward the Lord as you grieve. The Bible says that we are "pressed, but not crushed." However, it can sometimes feel as though we were crushed.
The Coral Ridge Stephen Ministry is dedicated to equipping members of our congregation for relational and servant ministries. Stephen Ministers are volunteers who have been trained to provide confidential Christian care to those in our church family who are facing the loss of a loved one or any other life challenge.
When the world sees that Christians want to help people because God helped them, they'll begin to ask what makes us so different. A faithful presentation of the gospel to our world, in other words, requires Christian community in full display.
