Keen-Agers
This lively group of seniors gains strength from the Scriptures, learns information useful to their stage of life, and then feasts on a delicious lunch. We meet on the third Monday of the month at 10:30 am in Kennedy Fellowship Hall Bay D to enjoy good Christian inspiration and fellowship. Our program includes a time of devotions shared by one of the pastors or directors of the ministries at Coral Ridge. This is followed by a program that has included recognizing memory problems and where to get help to a special musical presentation by the elementary students at Westminster Academy®. We often have contests (such as modeling Easter bonnets with prizes offered in various categories). And then our growling tummies are sated by a feast fit for the sons and daughters of the King. Meal reservations are due to Betty Runde (954.946.5792) by noon on the Tuesday before the meeting.
The Keen-Agers also enjoy day trips to places like Vizcaya or Butterfly World. We have also "solved murders" on the Mystery Train and cruised in the Caribbean.
Are you tired of that expensive medicine? Then join other merry hearts at Keen-Agers as we are uplifted by the prescription of fun and laughter (A joyful heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22).
