Music has always played a large part in the life and culture of Coral Ridge, giving hope and joy to people around the globe for 60 years. With a firm belief that music is a unique means of grace by which people encounter the glory of God in the Gospel, Coral Ridge continues to cherish the weekly assembling of its people for worship. Throughout the years, Coral Ridge has embraced both traditional and contemporary worship styles, believing that musical expression is necessary for the culture of South Florida to thrive.

Coral Ridge has a legacy of excellence in choral music that continues today. If you have experience singing in a choir and would like to join us, please click below. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights at 6:30, and Sunday mornings prior to the service.

BRADLEY HUNTER WELCH

Sunday, October 5 | 4pm

To invoke an old Southern expression, Bradley Hunter Welch plays the organ like nobody’s business. With the virtuosity of the playing and the charmingly personable spoken commentary, he quickly proves that entertainer and organist are not mutually exclusive. Hailed as “A world-class virtuoso” (The American Organist) and “an expert at defining darks, lights, shadows and colors,” (Birmingham News, Alabama), Dr. Welch is in continual demand as a recitalist, concerto soloist, and collaborative artist.  He is the 2003 First Prize winner of the Dallas International Organ Competition. In addition to concertizing, he serves as Resident Organist and holder of the Lay Family Chair of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Artist-in-Residence at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, Dallas.

We gather in the Sanctuary to worship God through modern music led by our Worship Band and Vocalists. All of our services are grounded in a gospel-centered message from God’s Word.

TRADITIONAL

We gather in the Sanctuary, a space rich with our church’s heritage, to worship God through hymns, spirituals, and a wide variety of vocal music. This service is led by our Chancel Choir and accompanied by organ, piano, and brass. All of our services are grounded in a gospel-centered message from God’s Word.

The Fratelli Ruffatti Pipe Organ (built in 1974), is heard weekly in our traditional worship service and is regularly featured in our ongoing Concert Series.

The sanctuary of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church was designed not only as a house for worship but also as a venue for concerts. We cherish musicians and their stylistic diversity that is reflected in classical, choral, jazz, and modern music.
