Our primary outreach initiatives are Mercy & Justice and The Great Commission. The Church is called to care for the most vulnerable of society, while also making disciples of Jesus Christ. As both these efforts aim beyond the walls of our church, each will lead us into partnership with other churches and ministries.

We will be a ministry that is active in our outreach efforts. We will put our love into action by serving others, sharing the Gospel, and making a tangible difference in our community.

James 2:14-17 – “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

GIVES

We will be a ministry that is generous with our time, talent, and treasure. We will give freely to support our outreach efforts and those we serve.

2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

KNOWS

We will be a ministry that is well-informed. We will seek to understand the needs of our community, the resources available, and the most effective methods of outreach.

Proverbs 18:15 – “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, and the ears of the wise seek it out.”

PRAYS

We will be a ministry that is bathed in prayer. We will intentionally pray for those we serve, those we hope to serve, and the various needs of our community.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 – “pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
