“Today we had an early start and drove to Desents Rafting to go white water rafting. I had so much fun in the boat with Mr. Bonds, Mrs. Ruiz, and Mrs. Kimball. Some areas were nice and relaxing and others were a little tense but we worked as a team and had a great time. Mrs. Ruiz even had the chance to ask our guide if he was a Christan and go to answer some questions that he had. After the staff made us a great lunch, we set off for the Baldi hot springs. I first went to the water slides with my friends and we all had a blast on them and then I had some relaxing time in the sauna and hot tubs. After we had a great dinner at this buffet, we drove home all tired and happy and ready for bed. Overall, I had an amazing day and all of the staff were so nice and I can’t wait for tomorrow’s day of serving.”

“We woke up today at 4:30 to start the day and left camp by 5:30 to head to La Fortuna for white water rafting. Everyone had an amazing experience and it taught the group a lot about working together, synchronized as a team. It also was a great reminder of the glory of God through the beauty of His creation. It was such a blessing to be able to witness the nature of Costa Rica. We then made it to the hot springs resort and were able to put the lessons we learned to use in bonding and growing amongst one another. The resort was a blessing and great opportunity to reset as well from our labors of the week and prepare for a new day of missions tomorrow. I’m excited to share that Johnny, Preston, and Sammy were able to present EE with two of the resort workers and bring them both to Christ! Praise God!”
