WEEKLY LORD’S DAY WORSHIP GUIDE
Worship is our wholehearted response to who God is and what He has done– particularly in Jesus Christ. This Worship Guide provides a simple pattern to help you draw near to God in Spirit and truth on the Lord’s Day. Spend some time today or tomorrow reading the sermon passage that will be preached, rehearsing songs that we will sing together, and praying for God’s Word to transform lives.
APRIL 12, 2026
Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.
Matthew 16:13-20
What does this passage teach us about God, ourselves, Christ’s person and work, and how to walk in obedience?
Jesus, our Head and Shepherd, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity (Ps. 133:1). Knit us together as a family this Lord’s Day. Thank you for building Your Church and inviting us to co-labor with You in making all things new. Amen.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
– Hebrews 10:23
This sermon series explores the enduring relevance of the Westminster Confession of Faith for the 21st-century church. Rooted in God’s infallible Word, these timeless truths offer clarity, conviction, and courage in a world of confusion and compromise. From the authority of Scripture to the sovereignty of God and the centrality of Christ, the Confession equips believers to stand firm and contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. As cultural winds shift, this historic confession anchors the church in sound doctrine and gospel hope, reminding us that what we believe shapes how we live for the glory of God.
