FAMILY
Partnering with families to co-champion a child’s spiritual growth in Christ
At Coral Ridge, Family Ministry is more than a program–it’s a partnership.
God is building His Kingdom from generation to generation. This isn’t just through sermons and studies but through families shaped by the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Our church is committed to equipping families in creating meaningful rhythms of worship both on Sundays and throughout the week.

Weekly Rhythm:
We are excited to walk alongside your family to make worship part of your weekly routine and to help strengthen relationships that reflect the hope we have in Christ alone.

Lord’s Day Worship (Sunday)
9:30am Contemporary Service | 11:00am Traditional Service
Sunday is a day set apart to rest, rejoice, and remember God’s love for us in Jesus Christ. More than any other time, Lord’s Day worship is the heartbeat of Family Ministry because it’s where the whole Church – young and old – encounters God together. (From birth to graduation, children have 936 Sundays to worship.)

Family Worship (at Home)
What happens at home is just as sacred. Family worship is gathering to read Scripture, talk about God’s truth, pray together, and sing His praises. As families rehearse the gospel together each day, ordinary moments add up to a lifetime of transformation.

A Biblical Theology for the Family
Why Family Ministry?
At Coral Ridge, we believe that the family is God’s primary institution for the advancement of His Kingdom. God created the first family to ‘be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it’ (Gen 1:28), and He made a covenant with Abraham and all those who have faith in His promise ‘to be God to you and your offspring’ (Gen 17:7). Before the State, even before the Church, there was the family. That is why we strive to be a church commissioned by Christ and enabled by the Holy Spirit to come alongside the family in reaching the next generation with the gospel.

What is Family Ministry?
A partnership between the church and family where parents are acknowledged and equipped as primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. The Lord calls His people to love Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). More specifically, God calls parents to diligently impress this love on their children through everyday, ordinary interactions (Deut. 6) – but this was never meant to be done alone.
What does it look like?
Intergenerational Lord’s Day Worship
Gathering each Sunday as one church family—young and old together—to be renewed in God’s presence, to hear His Word preached, and to respond in worship as the body of Christ.
Biblical Literacy & Worldview Development
Learning to read the Bible with understanding; seeing how God’s story shapes the way we think, live, and engage with the world around us.
Gospel-Centered Community
Living as God’s Spirit-filled family by helping each other follow Jesus, speak truth in love, and grow together in grace.
Evangelism & Service
Sharing the good news of Jesus in word and deed as ambassadors of God’s Kingdom.
